Lesson 1 - The Alphabet

The first thing you need to learn about the English language is the English Alphabet. Well, of course you already know how to read and write the Alphabet, otherwise, you won't be reading this blog. But the important skill you need to have is the correct pronunciation of all 26 letters of the Alphabet.

Yes, you know how they look like and you know how they sound. But what you need to develop right now is your skill of correctly producing these sounds. I have here a music file of the Alphabet Song by Lea Salonga. It's a very simple song. Try listening to this at least once a day and try getting a good grasp of the sounds in the words.
